Does Foyer support multiple languages?

Starter and Growth agents automatically detect the language a visitor is speaking and switch in real time. The greeting is generated in the language you choose, and the agent can carry the conversation in any supported language for the selected voice.

How does the agent learn about my product?

When you sign up, Foyer crawls your site, including pricing, features, FAQs, and case studies, then builds a private knowledge base in about two minutes.

The agent answers from your site content plus any extra context or instructions you add from the dashboard. Re-crawl any time from the dashboard when your site changes.

What if my website doesn't have enough context?

You can always add more from the dashboard. Open your agent and paste extra context, instructions, or anything the agent should know that isn't on your site, like internal policies, product nuance, or how to handle specific questions.

The agent uses it the same way it uses crawled content. Edit and update any time.

Does the agent talk to visitors first, or wait?

By default, yes. A few seconds after the page loads, a "tap to talk" bubble appears and the browser asks for microphone access. If the visitor allows, the conversation opens automatically. Returning visitors who already granted access skip straight into a conversation.

If you'd rather keep things quiet, you can turn this off from the dashboard. The floating button stays on the page and only opens when a visitor taps it.

Can I customize the voice?

Pick from 60+ curated voices with different accents, ages, and speaking styles. Preview each one in your chosen language before you go live.

You can change the voice any time from your agent settings, and the new voice takes effect on the next visitor conversation.

Does it work on my CMS?

Yes, Foyer works on any CMS. Webflow, WordPress, Shopify, Framer, Squarespace, Wix, Ghost, plain HTML, custom React or Next.js apps. Anywhere you can paste a <script> tag, the widget appears.

What happens if I run out of minutes?

The widget hides itself from your site so visitors don't see a broken button, your pages keep working normally and nothing else is affected.

Where do captured leads go?

Every lead lands in your dashboard with the visitor's name, email, intent, page, and full conversation transcript. You also get an instant email notification the moment a lead is captured, so you can follow up while the visitor is still warm.

Paid plans can export the full lead list to CSV any time.

Does Foyer recognize returning visitors?

Yes. When a visitor comes back to your site, the agent recognizes them and brings their past conversations and details into the new one. They don't have to repeat their name, what they were looking for, or what you already told them, the agent picks up where the last conversation ended.

This works across every page on your site and across browser sessions, so a visitor who talked to your agent last week sees a personal continuation when they return.

What analytics do I get?

Paid plans unlock a full analytics dashboard for every agent: visitor counts (unique vs returning vs engaged), country, device, browser, OS, time spent on your site versus time spent in conversation with the agent, click and keypress activity, and a daily breakdown of every metric.

You see who passed through without engaging, who stopped to talk, where they came from, and what they did. Free agents capture leads and transcripts, but the analytics overview is a Starter+ feature.
